PhD candidate in Economic Viability, Social Acceptability and Legal Frameworks of Nature-Based Approaches for Sandy-Soil Landscapes.
I am part of the Environmental Economics and Natural Resources (ENR) chair group and the Law chair group, with Andries Richter and Edwin Alblas as my supervisors. My PhD is funded by NWO (Dutch Research Council) and is coordinated by the Wageningen Institute for Environment and Climate Research (WIMEK) graduate school.
Besides research, I assist in course organization and give lectures (i.e., Transnational Environmental Law and Regulation course), I supervise Master’s and Bachelor’s students (i.e., internships, environmental sciences projects) and I am the PhD representative for the ENR group.
Outside of the context of my PhD, I have given presentations/guest lectures at University of Montreal, MIT and Radboud University Nijmegen, ISOCARP and worked together with scientists from TU Delft.
